The fall edition of Startup Games kicked off Oct. 13 2023 with 35 participants developing nine projects, culminating in seven teams delivering pitches during the finals on Oct. 15 at the Pappajohn Business Building in Iowa City, Iowa.
My team, Eloqua—a skincare product customized to the consumer—won first place and a $1,000 prize. Over the weekend, we planned our business, conducted research, engaged in customer discovery, and worked with business coaches to refine our pitch.
